The old window was already, too much decayed. So we replaced it with a much more efficient, new Velux window. Our steps: We removed the tiles, around the window. We removed the window. We fitted the new Velux Window, with its appropriate flashings and its insulated collar. We fit the tiles back.

We fitted the new Velux Window, with its appropriate flashings and its insulated collar. We fitted the underfelt collar. We fitted the tiles back.  

Change Velux glass in Kerrymount

There were very old Velux windows in the roof with glass, internal damage but their frames were in good condition. Therefore, we only replaced the glass, inside all the Velux windows and they look brand new. Our steps: We took down the Velux window. We took off the glass flashing, before taking down the glass….

The house’s roof inclination was 12 degrees. This caused the Velux windows to have an interior leak. Because, Velux windows need to have a minimum of 15 degrees, advised by the Velux company itself.
